More from Punchi Lokanthaya

Above picture was taken from Punchi Lokanthaya or Mini world’s End of Pitawalapathana, Knuckles Range.

You get to see a wide range of area from this point and it is one of the best points to view the beauty of Knuckles Range, Sri Lanka’s largest mountain range.

More photos are uploaded here.

It looks like there is a lake in the center of the Knuckles Range.

Shifan,
Thanks mate.

Rainfield,
I too not sure but I think it is a sort of open land/grassy area in the middle of the jungle.

Very Nice! When I went, It was mostly like your first photo on Picasa, cloudy and a bit of rain. I hope to do better next time!

Chavie,
Sorry about that and I didn't see any previous comments from you. Google do such things once in a while :)

Magerata,
Yes, cloudy and misty is usual here and a clear day is difficult to get.

Your pictures from Punchi Lokanthaya are beautiful. I really like the first one with the mist on the mountain. The last picture reminds me of a similar scene on Mount Nebo in Arkansas.
