More Misty Memories

Bambarakiri Ella

This waterfall is situated in a very attractive location in Raththota area, pass Matale. You can reach here via Raththota – Pallegama Road.

There are two waterfalls (Maha Bamabarakiri Ella and Punchi Bambarakiri Ella) in the same location and the larger fall is shown in the photo. There is a small suspension bridge built in front of the waterfall to walk across the stream. You can view more photos of this beautiful waterfall, here.

Sunset on the Way from Dambulla to Matale

Dambulla to Mathale (A9) is a great stretch of road, where you can see the rapid climate change. The low lands of Dambulla will be soon changed to mountainous terrain and the cilmate will be cooler. You will see the magnificent Knuckles range on your left and many more mountains all the way. This area is ideal for a hiker to enjoy the beautiful nature.
