Whacko, I have included some vague description in one of my earlier posts. The closest route from Colombo is Kalawana via Mathugama. From Kalawana take the route to Weddagala. From Weddagala pick the route to Kudawa village. You have to travel about 6k from Weddagala to reach Kudawa village and the forestry office of Sinharaja. You will definitely need a vehicle with good ground clearance to pass this 6 km stretch. To enter Sinharaja and reach any of the destinations, you need a guide. This is a rule set by the Forestry Department.
