Here, I’m looking at the entire northern sector of Sri Lanka from a key-hole. This breathtaking scenery was captured from Maningala of Knuckles Region.
Looks like this is where I should explore next!

It is about 3000 feet above sea level, where I took the picture. Usually up north is very flat and low. The picture shows last layers of mountains of the central highlands towards north.

Yep just heard that you do not need MoD clearance now. Lot of people will travel that way soon. I too think about a few places..Jaffna, Mannar etc :)
