Rocky Seashore

I’m taking you back to my favorite rocky beach in the South Eastern coastline. This time, I’m attaching more fabulous photos of this rocky seashore here.

As you can see in the above picture, the view here is incredible.

Hi Dee,
Guess a few bloggers (Whacko, Jerry etc.) just passed this place today on their
backpacking journey and went further south. So we can hear more about this place from them soon :)
Thanks for your comments!

What a beautiful stretch of coastline.
Perfect to sit, have a cool beer and watch the sun set :)

wow K! The pictures are amazing!!! :D There's something magical about the shades of the sky and the sea in the eastern coast that you don't get here in the west, isn't there? :)

Hi K, Love the picture of the coastline --but in catching up from last week, my favorite is that WATERFALL. Beautiful!!!

Nicole,
Yes I know what you mean.. That is a lovely idea!

Chavie,
May be less pollution! So you probably see clear sky and sea water..:)

Clo,
A good week to you too!

Betsy,
Glad you are home. I knew you would like the waterfall :)

Rainfield,
Yep..it is a very attractive beach!

Jane,
Bet you would!

George,
Yes the remoteness and the mixture of beach / sea / lagoon / rocky outcrops / Sand dunes make this a unique beach! I simply love this place!

Nat,
Yep.. when I saw this place for the first time I really went blank! It was such a surprise!

Dilsiri,
Glad you hiked here! I too watched the sun rise from top of the rocks.. Yes Dee should come n see this place!

Natural Moments,
Yep..we in fact spend whole day here and it was not enough :)

Bindhu Unny,
Glad you like those pictures!

Fabulous coastline... love the large rocks and sandy beach... I went to see the other photos too ... all great. Beautiful Beautiful! I imagine the water is warm too... not like the frigid temps along the Cape Cod shore. Carol

Carol,
Yep it is warm water there. In fact we were in the water for hours..We could have stayed more..just that we had to come out of the water to find a place to pitch a tent. Later we found this wonderful location to pitch it :)

Hi Nutty Gnome,
Thanks for dropping by and I too happy to see your blog .. it is very interesting :)

Sharodindu,
I’m glad you like the blog and the Picasa pictures :).
The profile picture was taken at Arugam Bay, Eastern Province of Sri Lanka.. The complete set of Arugam Bay is stored here.
I like greenery and green color is my favorite so I photo shopped the profile image and the header image. I started using that a few days before the recent solar eclipse. I wanted to show something close to ‘absolute’ nature thro my Gravatar. As Cerno mentioned here, it may probably mean something like “communing with the nature” :)

Mama Zen,
Many thanks for your comments!

J Bar,
Thanks a lot :)
