Sankara,
Yes, we couldn't see more than 20-30 metres ahead. The mist was so thick.

Betsy,
Yep, I just saw them. Beautiful images and we both were in similar misty area at the same time!

Deborah,
Thanks a lot for your comments.

George,
Glad you like it. I like the way the trees get faded in the mist.

Thanks all for your comments!

Beautiful picture K. Was this taken on the recent trip? :D

Rainfield,
Yep, it is the same mist that was present in Penang that came to Knuckles region! The mist told me :)

Frieda,
In Sri Lanka, you usually see mist in the hill country. But low lands you see it in early mornings from December to January.

Loshini,
Yes Rainfield and I think the same way :D Yes it was cold but not freezing cold so we could move and have fun in the mist.

Betchai,
Yes, we too get mist in the mornings but only specific time or days. But in the mountains, certain areas are always misty through out the day..like in Knuckles.

Anjana,
Thanks mate!

Silent Moments,
Thanks a lot!

Amila,
Yes, I got many of similar views and will post the whole lot again :)

Chavie,
Yes, it was taken last week during my last trip to Knuckles.

Thanks all for your wonderful comments!

Wow.. totally surreal and absolutely artistic! Those shadowy silhouettes overlapping in the distant give a mysterious feel. Just like a still from a horror movie!

It's a dreamy feeling to walk through mist.

So mesmerizing how the trees fade out... Mist is a common feature in Ioannina, Greece :)
Thank you for all of your beautiful photos!

This is how see the world out side of my window in the evenings, most of the time, be it summer or winter! (Usually bay fog envelopes us in the evenings) But today is toasty 20C.
Thank you for the nice photo!

Harumi,
Did you watch that movie The Mist recently? No, I didn't see any oversized tentacled creatures or insects :)

Indicaspecies,
Fully agree with you :)

Mariana,
You are welcome and it is nice to know you see similar views at your place too

Magerata,
Oh, you see it everyday! I see mist quite often during my hikes but this time it was quite thick and lasted longer.

Thanks all for your comments!

@ K: Nope. Just checked the plot and it seems too scary but quite interesting nevertheless. =D

Stunning...

What a gorgeous photo!

Back home, i used to take the really foggy/misty days off of work to go hiking, since it was a once in a blue moon occurrence. It is amazing how close you can get to nature in the fog. I "bumped" into a few deer here & there, just due to the cover it provided. I miss those days - they are almost nonexistent here. :)

Great capture!!
