There are many routes to enter Central Highlands of Sri Lanka. A7 road via Ginigathhena Pass is one of them. This particular picture was taken at Ginigathhena.

This is a wonderful scene. I like the lush green foreground and the mountains reaching to the clouds in the background. Very beautiful.
I remember passing through Ginigathhena quite a few times on the way to Nuwaraeliya. Yeah, its a picturesque town. Brings back good memories...

There are insects here but not big ones. You will find a few ants, moths and mosquitoes. That is all about it :)
