There are many routes to enter Central Highlands of Sri Lanka. A7 road via Ginigathhena Pass is one of them. This particular picture was taken at Ginigathhena.

There are truly an infinite amount of paths to reach the top of the mountain. We each take a unique route in a special quest to feel high and on top of the world.
This is a wonderful scene. I like the lush green foreground and the mountains reaching to the clouds in the background. Very beautiful.
I remember passing through Ginigathhena quite a few times on the way to Nuwaraeliya. Yeah, its a picturesque town. Brings back good memories...

Yes, most of the entrances to Central highlands like Ginigathhena, Balana, Haputhale, Balakaduwa are very scenic places.

There are insects here but not big ones. You will find a few ants, moths and mosquitoes. That is all about it :)

I've had tea as long as I could remember but I've yet to see a tea tree up close. Well.. I've only seen tea estates from a distant. =D
