I'd love to take a stroll here - and my favorite hiking weather is cool and/or overcast. :) I really like this summit in the foreground.
Great pic!

Wow.. a mountainous paradise! Not just for a stroll it'd be a great place to dwell even. What's the altitude here?

Betchai,
Headlamp may not be enough if you wander too long in these areas. This area sometimes gets very thick mist.

Indrani,
Thanks for dropping by and for your comments!

Betsy,
Well, then you have to take plane and come to Knuckles region of Sri Lanka ;) Glad you like it.

Mahasen,
Thanks and yes that was my guess too.

Rajesh,
Thanks mate!

Emma,
Thanks for that comment and some of the places you show in your country is mazing too!

Loshini,
He is one of my friend, coming towards us after a long walk.

Jag,
Yep, undoubtedly yes. A perfect area for camping.

Chavie,
Yes, but this area is quite high up and not so infested with leeches, but you will get them once in a while especially after a rain.

Me-shak,
Not me, but a friend of mine. You msut do a trip to this area with your camera phone.

Rainfield,
Yes morning stroll will be as good as evening walk. I’ll be your guide anytime. Just now I’m enjoying KL ;)

Amaris,
I too wanted this picture to be posted because two reasons. First the overcast and cool weather and then the summit point. Same reasons you mentioned :)

George,
Yes, it has cool weather and will not make you tired even if you walk for miles.

Naquillity,
Or you hiked 4-6 miles. Good to hear that. Where did you hike? I’ll check out your updates in your blog soon.

Tes,
Yep, I thought you would like it :)

Harumi,
Yes I would love to live here for a few days. But you have to be ready to face some extreme condition especially at night. The altitude here is about 4000feet.

Thanks all for your comments!

Sigh, yes. I need to put that on the list for our next visit.

I'm Canadian, I'm used to extreme conditions. :)

Knatolee,
Oh yes you will still feel warm, while we are freezing in Knuckles weather :)
Knuckles Range must be in your list next time.
Thanks for your comments.
