Horizontal Menu Bar

I added a horizontal menu bar!

I must say that, it is after lot of trying.. My sincere thanks goes to Blogger Sentral.

In addition I did a few minor changes also in to the blog design.

Let me know what you think. :)

Especially I would like to know the experience with different browsers.

Thanks!

K

Nice layout. I like your label as it save space. How do you do that? I did do some changes to my layout recently. Do visit my blog and Read what happen to my blog when i did that.

I love the new header... Your pic from Karawanella right? :)

I like the horizontal menu too... I gave up on my own a long time ago though! ;) lol

Cool! Menu bar is absolutely clean and easy to use. Is the greenish overlay in the header image intentional? I found it to be little disturbing on eye, particularly because it hinders the beauty of the brillant photography in the header image photo.

Hey, how about changing your browser favicon (Orange "B" letter to denote "Blogger" on browser address bar) to your own one?

Check my site www.amisampath.com (a blogspot site) to see how I have added my own favicon "A" there :-)

You can add an icon of a Camera with letter "K" or something.

Check this site. It gives all instructions how to do this. http://blog.eplanetinteractive.com/2009/11/how-to-change-favicon-in-blogger.html

Jay,
Thanks! Just go to Layout and add the Gadget ‘Labels’. Select Cloud as Display mode.
I read your blog .. hope you managed to set it right again.

Amaris in Wonderland,
Thanks! The rainy blog just came up as a surprise for me. Never thought it will come this well.

Chavie,
Thnaks. Yes it is Karawanella :)
Why did you give it up? Any particular reason?
Thanks for the correction too :). I didn’t notice that. Yes I have missed a ‘1’ :)

Amitha,
Thanks! I just tried to bring it to a theme – A greenish look..and may be I have overdone it.
Thanks for the advice on favicon. I was looking for it and was about to ask someone how to get it done. I tried as per the link you showed. It didn’t come as expected but I’ll try again and let you know if I fail.

Thanks very much again!!

Rainfield,
Let me know if you need help. I am not an expert but learned a bit with experimenting.

Rajesh,
Thanks! Yes, for me it took sometime. I am not at all good with coding. Still let me know if you want help.

Indicaspecies,
Thanks for dropping by. Yes it is great to meet another nature lover and a hiker :)

I wz thinking of Kirigalpoththa. any suggestions? i jz love beautiful scenary.. so yeah any suggestions? also with my clan we wud need facilitators. it was AOA (Acedamey of Adventure) who facilitated the Paraviyangala hike. any ideas, suggestions?

George,
Thanks very much. I have used Safari, but could not check the latest style with it. Please let me know how it comes up thro' Safari.

Anonymous,

I have not gone to Paraviyangala, but I just feel Kirigalpoththa and Knuckles may be bit more strenuous.

Usually you can request a guide from Horton Plains Wild Life Dept. Office if you want to climb Kirigalpoththa. the hike is about 14km and you need a full day. The last bit could be bit challenging.

I feel it is good for you to try Maningala which belongs to Knuckles Range. It is much easier climb and you can do it without the help of a guide.

Drop an email (kirigalpoththa@yahoo.com) if you want more information.

Yep, you've done a great job! It looks well organized. The etiquette list is the best addition.. and the labels look neat too.

Harumi,
Thanks a lot Harumi!
I did that etiquette post some time back but could not give the required prominence to it.
With this new horizontal menu bar i managed to do just that..
Glad you like the labels too. :)
