Rukmal Ella

This dazzling waterfall was seen on the way to Dedugala. It is made out of a tributary of Ritigaha Oya, which eventually joins with River Kelani.

Rukmal Ella (waterfall) is situated so close to the road so you can enjoy this view just from the road itself.

That's a really beautiful waterfall K! And situated so close to the road too... Is this on the Dedugala road turning off from Bulathkohupitiya?

Wow---what a fabulous waterfall, K. AND--with it being so close to the road made me wonder where the water goes... Under the road???? OR--maybe it travels beside the road. Hope it doesn't wash the road out... That's alot of water coming over those falls. Wow!!!!

Even though it is a tributary the water falls is wonderful.

George,
You are most welcome!

Rainfield,
Thanks :)

Michelle,
Yes, this beauty is falling so close to the road, yet very few knows about it.

Chavie,
Yep, it is on the Dedugala road from Bulathkouhupitiya. You have to travel about 10km from Bulathkohupitiya to get here. Thanks for your comments.

Betsy,
Yes water goes under the road. There is a small bridge here. There is lot of water in this small stream and you almost get wet to the splash of water if you stay at the edge of the road :)

Thecouple,
Thanks :)

Bhavesh,
Thanks for the compliments; it is not the photography but the beauty of the falls itself :)

Indianwildlife,
You are welcome! Yes that is my wish too :)

J Bar,
Thanks :)

Rajesh,
Welcome back my friend and thanks for your comments!
