This intruder was found in our house on a rainy day. I have never done close up photos of critters before and this can be taken as my first ever effort of that nature. At least he is the slowest you can get and the best creature to do your inaugural close-up photo.
After the photo shoot, he was seen moving ever so slowly across the living room to the side door.

Beautiful portrait... I would never have thought I could say that about those critters... a bit slimy... Is it very large? The colors are wonderful ... in the shell and the beast.
Ugh... I'm not much of a 'lover' of those kinds of critters, K.... Even the tiny ones make me shiver... Hope you got him OUT of your home.

Your first and yet it turned out good! These critters tend to come out after a rainy day. My students searched for those after every rain. :D
Snails are really slowmoving...That is an advantage :)
macro photography is fun and when subject is static or slow mover like urs, it is a treat. I'll try to capture some snails here too...

Yes they are very slimy. It is about 3 inches long from the head to tail. Thanks for your comments!

Yep, he took about an hour to cover less than 3 meters and finally disappeared out of the house :)
