An Evening at the Beach

This beautiful sunset was taken in the Western beach front near Kochchikade. This place lies about 35km North of Colombo and it is a popular place where people come to spend the evening.

Wonder what ‘he’ thinks?...

Wow.. what a beautiful sky! never seen that many bright colors all at once. Reminds me of the aurora effect in the polar regions.

Great capture!

Nicole,
You bet right! I think he thinks the same..
No better place to take a deep breath and freshen your lungs!
Thanks for your comments.

Harumi,
Yep, Think I saw all the colours except bright green. Ofcourse you have to be closer to the poles to see the green lights of aurora :)

Thanks for your comments:)

Gadgetgirl,
You can try this even in Colombo but sometimes the city lights distract the view..

I used a very basic camera phone. As you can see when you magnify the image it is not that good image quality.

Yet the scenery is so majestic and the image came so well even with the low quality camera..:)

Many Thanks for your comments!
