Katubedda Sky

On a busy street there is not much to enjoy. But you can always look in to the sky!
This picture and a few more here were taken while coming from Katubedda (A suburban town South of Colombo) towards Colombo.

It was a gloomy day with a bit of a drizzle. The clouds and the light from the setting sun made some beautiful pictures all over the sky.

I love to look up for the sky is usually changing. Your train track and tunnel really speaks to me, though. I'm always wondering what is just out of sight, over the next hill or around the bend in the trail.
Thanks for stopping by my site.

Martha Z,
I was very interested with your travel and hiking stories! Yep..hiking is always very adventurous as you do not know what lies ahead of you. At the tunnel we had to travel around it to see the track on the other side. That was fun!

Realskullzero,
Thanks for visiting and your comments!

George,
Sky is always fascinating night or day :)

Chavie,
Yes, the hue was very unusual that day. Think it was a mix of both sun light and the clouds.

Harumi,
Thought it is some thing unusual especially over a busy street! The best part was that it was changing so rapidly - Both Colours and cloud pattern!!

Gaelyn,
Yes. It is unusual and beautiful!

Just Chillin',

The sky is such a beautiful place and what we need is some time from our busy schedules, just to gaze for a while. Thanks for visiting my blog!

And thanks for visiting my blog and the nice comments. Try and make time for Scotland next time you visit, it's definitely worth it.

Maybe one day I'll get to Sri Lanka, it looks a beautiful place too.
